Connection to Senior Transportation Resources

Stay connected to community and manage your daily tasks, from doctor’s appointments to grocery shopping to cultural and social outings. Trained drivers ensure that you are safe while getting on and off buses, into and out of individual cars, and to and from locations. A fleet of vehicles, some equipped with wheelchair lifts, is at your service to provide a comfortable, safe and dependable way to get where you need to go.

Driver Assessments

Get objective information about whether it’s safe for you to drive. This driving assessment program, conducted by a trained occupational therapist, can help you determine if you can continue to drive or resume driving and offers ways to improve your ability to function behind the wheel. An off-road clinical assessment thoroughly evaluates vision, physical functioning and cognition. Then an in-car assessment, conducted in a dual-equipped vehicle, evaluates safety behind the wheel, including stopping and starting, following directions, turning, parking and highway driving. Each assessment takes one-and-a-half to two hours to complete.
